Our Story
The first certain news of the Palace dates back to 1775 and appears in the "Catasto della comunità di Cocconato," in the name of Mr. Giò Tommaso Sacco, who bequeathed the property to his sister, the wife of Mr. Giovanni Marchisio, a House that since the 1200s had the Seigniory of Caselle, Borgaro and other neighboring towns and that for centuries retained ownership of the Palace. The penultimate owner descended from the Marchisio family, Ida Martelletti, gave the building its current name. It dates back to medieval times, although it was in the 1700s that it took its present architectural form.
